Perspectum is a leading provider of cutting-edge imaging solutions in the medical industry. We are expanding our presence in the Boston area and seeking highly motivated Senior Business Development Managers to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in building our network of prospective customers, developing persuasive approaches and pitches, and driving business growth for Perspectum.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Build a strong network of prospective customers in the Boston area, leveraging existing relationships in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, CRO, or Medical Device organizations.
  • Develop compelling approaches and pitches to showcase Perspectum's products and services, convincing clients to choose Perspectum as their imaging solution provider.
  • Gain in-depth scientific understanding of Perspectum's offerings and effectively communicate the clinical evidence supporting their use in clinical trials.
  • Stay updated with developments in relevant fields and attend conferences/events to develop new business opportunities and support existing clients.
  • Identify and manage relationships with prospective customers and strategic partners, maintaining accurate data.
  • Prepare budget proposals, statements of work, and payment schedules, seeking feedback on product offerings and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams during the sales and contracting process, building strong working relationships with multi disciplinary teams.
  • Coach and develop the Business Development team as it grows.

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

  • Proven track record of selling to Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, CRO, or Medical Device organizations.
  • Established key relationships in these areas to leverage Perspectum's opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and address clients' needs effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passionate about ensuring a faultless business development sales process, with a focus on achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Previous experience in medical imaging, clinical trials, or related fields is highly desirable.
